Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. The bidder should have experience in Indoor or Combined Indoor & Outdoor Signalling work including Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of Relay Interlocking (RRI/PI) system/ ABS/ IBS for passenger-carrying lines. The tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The values mentioned include the advertised value of the tender (V) and the number of years (N) for completion of work. The percentages of similar works completed are 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender for the three categories of work, respectively.
