Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works such as "Execution of traction substation of 110KV or higher voltage level" or "Execution of HT Substation/HT switchyard of 110KV or higher voltage level" with Central/State Govt./Semi-Govt. Organisations/Authorities, PSUs, Govt. of India undertakings. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The value of similar works completed is considered based on the final bill (gross amount) including the PVC amount (if paid) for completed work, and the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount (if paid), for substantially completed work. The required prior work experience is related to the bidder's financial eligibility criteria, which includes having a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years. Bidders are required to submit documentary proof in regard to financial and technical eligibility criteria, which includes audited balance sheets and certificates from Chartered Accountants.
