The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For substantially completed work, payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value (excluding the payment made for adjustment of Price variation) should have been made to the contractor. Additionally, for tenders having advertised value more than Rs.20.00 crore, the tenderer's available bid capacity is calculated based on the maximum value of construction works executed and payment received in any one of the previous three financial years or the current financial year. The value of a completed work/work in progress/work awarded but yet not started for a Member in an earlier JV shall be reckoned only to the extent of the concerned member's share in that JV. In case of subcontractors, the requirement is to have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, unless the subletting work costs up to Rs.50 lakh, in which case no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
