Notice Id 2031za24n00024 the Bureau Of Engraving And Printing (bep), Western Currency Facility (wcf), Intends To Issue A Sole-source, Firm-fixed Price Contract To Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions Sa For Technical Assistance Services Required For The Press Operators With Limited Experience Operating The Optinota-h Hot Foil Press (onh) And The Attached Cutting Unit Ii. the Training Will Be Conducted On The Optinota-h Press And Cut Unit Ii Located At The Wcf In Fort Worth Tx. Training Will Take Place On An Eight (8) Hour Day Shift Work Schedule, Monday Through Friday. This Will Be A Total Of 40 Hours Of Training. The Original Equipment Manufacturer Shall Provide A Technician Who Is Knowledgeable Of The Onh And Cutting Unit Ii Machine Setup And Processing Functions. The Contractor’s Technician Will Provide Technical Support And Assistance With Project Testing At The Western Currency Facility In Ft. Worth, Tx. this Procurement Will Be Made Under The Simplified Acquisition Procedures And Other Than Full And Open Competition, As Authorized By Far 6.302-1 And In Accordance With Far 13.106-1(b). this Notice Of Intent Is Not A Request For Competitive Quotes Or A Solicitation Of Offers. A Determination By The Government Not To Compete This Proposed Contract Requirement Based Upon Responses To This Notice Is Solely Within The Discretion Of The Government.
