The bidder is required to have prior work experience in electrical engineering, with specific requirements including: - At least one similar work worth 35% of the tender value (Rs. 120.68 Lac) in the last five years. - Alternatively, at least two similar works worth 25% each of the tender value (Rs. 60.34 Lac each) in the last five years. - Similar works with a value of at least 25% of the estimated cost of the work (Rs. 86.20 Lac) in a single project executed in the last five years. - Average annual financial turnover of not less than 50% of the estimated cost (Rs. 172.40 Lac) in the last five years. The bidder should provide details of similar works performed as a prime contractor over the last five years, including project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract numbers, value of contract, and date of issue of work order. The experience certificate from any private contractor or private organization, and as a sub-contractor to prime contractor, shall not be considered while evaluating the bid in compliance to the qualifying criteria. The bidder should submit certificates from an officer of the rank not below Executive Engineer of Govt. or Semi Govt., indicating the names of the works completed, value of works, and period during which they were completed. The value of the experience submitted by the bidder shall be indexed as per the escalation factor given, with factors ranging from 1.00 to 1.46 for different years.
