Bidders must have successfully completed or be currently executing similar work valued at a minimum amount over the past seven years. This could be three similar projects costing no less than Rs. 88.00 Lakh each, two projects costing no less than Rs. 111.00 Lakh each, or one project costing no less than Rs. 177.60 Lakh. "Similar work" is defined as structural steel/plate work for a minimum of 810MT in the hydrocarbon sector (refineries, petrochemicals, etc.), metallurgy, chemical, or power plants (excluding solar and wind) in a single order. The value of completed work should be adjusted to current costs using a 7% annual simple interest rate from the completion date to the bid opening date. For ongoing projects, substantial completion (80% or more value-wise) is required for evaluation. Separate work orders for the same job within the same project are considered a single order. Experience must be in the bidding company's name, not a subsidiary or associate company. For joint ventures, only the applicant's share is considered.

Bidders must possess the necessary equipment, machinery, tools, tackle, and instruments for successful job execution. If the bidder does not own the required items, they may hire them from a sub-agency, but must submit a consent letter with their techno-commercial offer. A declaration indicating the name of the equipment provider and contract duration is also required.
