The required prior work experience for the bidder involves successfully completing or substantially completing similar works, which are valued at: - not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work for three similar works, - or not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work for two similar works, - or not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work for one similar work, in the last seven and current financial years. The similar works refer to the execution of resurfacing works, and substantially completed works are those that are 90% completed on the date of submission. The bidder is also required to provide details of their maximum turnover in the last five financial years to calculate their Available Bid Capacity (ABC). However, no specific number of years of experience or similar projects completed is mentioned. Additionally, the bidder needs to submit a list of works, including details such as the name of the work, brief scope of work, and cost of completed work, as well as a performance certificate from the client for the works that prove the criteria of experience. The values A and B are used to calculate the Available Bid Capacity, where A refers to the maximum turnover in the last five financial years, and B refers to the value of balance work in all government and private works. In the case of a Joint Venture, the values of A and B shall be the sum total of the respective figures of both parties.
