Description I. Description Supply Of Labor And Materials For The Installation Of Stair Hand Rail From Basement To 4th Floor For Persons With Disability (pwd) At The Industry And Investments Building. Ii. Objective To Cater To The Unique Needs Of Person With Disability In Order To Ensure Equal Opportunity And Easy Access To The Industry And Investments Building (i & I) Pursuant To Ra 9442 Also Known As The “magna Carta For Disabled Persons”. Iii. Approved Budget For The Contract The Approved Budget For The Contract Is Three Hundred Twenty Thousand Pesos (php 320,000.00) Inclusive Of Vat. Iv. Scope Of Work The Contractor Shall Undertake The Following: 1. Mobilization And De-mobilization Of Tools And Materials. 2. Preparation Of Procedures. 3. Installation Of Stainless Bracket And Support. 4. Fabrication And Installation Of 2 Inches Diameter Stainless-steel Pipes. With An Estimated Length Of 8.72 Meters Per Floor. 5. Grinding Of Imperfect Joints, Corners And Edges. 6. Inspect The Installed Stainless-steel Pipes For Possible Dents And Scratches. 7. Polishing And Buffing Of Bracket, Support And Pipes For Better Surface Quality. 8. Restoration Of Affected Area. 9. Painting Of Affected Walls. 10. Cleaning/hauling Of Waste Materials 11. Turn-over. Note: Please Submit Bid Proposal Together With The Technical Specification Indicating Compliance Or Conforme On Each Item. Otherwise, The Bidder Is Disqualified. V. Documents For Submission • Mayor’s Permit • Philgeps Registratrion • Price Quotation With The Scope Of Work Vi. Terms Of Payments Payment Shall Be Made Upon Full Completion Of The Above Scope Of Work Duly Certified And Accepted By The End User. Payment Shall Be Made Through Landbank’s Lddap-ada/bank Transfer Facility, Within Fifteen (15) Days After Submission Of Billing And User Acceptance Of The Product /service. Bank Transfer Fee Shall Be Charged Against The Creditor’s Account If Any. Vii. Warranty A Warranty Security Shall Be Required From The Contract Awardee For A Minimum Period Of Six (6) Months. The Obligation For The Warranty Shall Be Covered By Either Retention Money In An Amount Equivalent To At Least One (1%) Percent Of Every Progress Payment Or A Special Bond Guarantee Equivalent To At Least One (1%) Of The Total Contract Price. The Said Amount Shall Only Be Released After The Lapse Of The Warranty Period. Viii. Liabilities The Contractor Shall Be Liable To Pay The Damages In Case Of Death Or Injuries Incurred By Officials, Employees And Guest Including Damage Or Loss Of Boi Property Due To Its Fault Or Negligence During The Performance Of Civil Works At The Industry And Investments Building Ix. Contract Duration The Project Must Be Completed Within The Period Of Forty-five (45) Working Days From Receipt Of Notice To Proceed. Work Should Be Undertaken By The Contractor After Office Hours And During Weekends Only. X. Liquidated Damages If The Contractor Fails To Satisfactorily Deliver Any Or All Of The Goods And/or Perform Services Within The Period Specified In The Contract Inclusive Of Duly Granted Time Extension If Any, The Boi Shall Impose Liquidated Damages At Least Equal To One-tenth Of One Percent (0.001) Of The Cost Of The Unperformed Portion For Every Day Of Delay. Once The Cumulative Amount Of Liquidated Damages Reaches Ten Percent (10%) Of The Amount Of The Contract, The Boi May Rescind Or Terminate The Contract, Without Prejudice To Other Courses Of Action And Remedies Available Under The Circumstances.
