The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to optical fiber cable construction work. The bidder should have experience in carrying out such works, with a certificate issued by the issuing office certifying successful completion of optical fiber cable construction work for a specified amount. The experience should be with certain specified entities, including BSNL/MTNL/TCIL/ITI/Rites/ Hindustan Cables Limited (HCL)/ PGCIL/ Rail Tel/ any Licensed Telecom service provider/ any other Govt. (Central/ State) undertaking having mandate to carry out OFC construction work or the PSUs directly themselves. The bidder should possess experience of having successfully completed Optical Fiber Cable Construction works, with received payment for such completed works to the extent of at least 30% of estimated cost of work put to tender during last 3 Financial years plus the subsequent period ending the month preceding the one in which NIT is issued, or at least 60% of estimated cost of work put to tender during last 5 Financial years plus the subsequent period ending the month preceding the one in which NIT is issued. Additionally, the bidder should have experience of having successful completion of OF cable construction works, with payment received for such works during the last 5 Financial years plus the subsequent period ending the month preceding the one in which NIT is issued, with the amount being at least 60% of the estimated cost of work put to tender. The experience certificate should be in the prescribed pro-forma and under the signature of the officer responsible for maintaining the contractor's ledger.
