The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works. The experience can be in the bidder's name or proportionate share as a member of a Joint Venture/Partnership firm. The experience should be within the last 7 years. The bidder should have completed works that meet one of the following criteria: - Three similar completed works, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Two similar completed works, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - One similar completed work, costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. Additionally, the cost of previous completed works will be given a simple weightage of 7% per year to bring them to the current price level. The experience of incomplete/ongoing works will not be considered for evaluation, unless the construction part is completed and the certificate issued clearly stipulates the same. The bidder needs to furnish information on the description of qualifying experience, work order number, name and address of the employer, percentage share of each experience, executed value of work, start and end date of each qualifying experience, and confirmation of submission of similar work experience. The proportionate value of experience will be considered in proportion to the actual share of the bidder in a joint venture firm or partnership firm. Note that the work experience criteria are not applicable for tenders with an Estimated Contract Value (ECV) below 50 lakhs.
