This Request For Proposal Identifies A Business Opportunity For The Successful Proponent To Provide Civil Engineering Professional Services Pertaining To The 92431 – Island Class Terminal Electrification Project. Pre-bid Meeting (optional): Microsoft Teams, November 25, 2024 At 10:00 Am – 11:30 Am The Major Components Of Project #92431 Are As Follows: 1. Bc Hydro Electrical Grid Upgrades To Extend The Dedicated 25kv Primary Service Capabilities To Each Project Site. 2. Under-ground Concrete-encased Cables Carrying The 25kv Service From The Bc Hydro Point Of Service (off-terminal Overhead Pole) Via A Revenue Metering Kiosk To A Pre-fabricated Modular Walk-in Electrical Enclosure (e-house). The E-house Houses Switchgear And Stepdown Transformers To Transform And Distribute The 25kv Service To Lower Utilization Voltages Of 690v, 600v, 480v, And 208v. 3. Under-ground Concrete Ducts And/or Above-ground Cable Trays Will Carry The 690v/600v To The Rapid Charging Towers Located At The Wingwalls. The Charging Towers Will Be Installed On Monopiles Or Floating Pontoons. 4. Obtaining All Permits Needed To Install The Civil, Electrical And Marine Works Within Bc Ferries’ Lands.
