The Batangas State University (batstate U) Through The Bids And Awards Committee Invites Interested Firms/supplier To Submit Quotation For The Project "procurement For Geotechnical Investigation Services At Batstateu-lobo Campus" With An Approved Budget For The Contract (abc) One Hundred Forty Thousand Pesos Only (php 140,000.00). Quotation Received In Excess Of The Abc Shall Be Automatically Rejected At The Opening. Item No. Qty Description Total 1. 1 Lot Procurement Of Geotechnical Investigation Services At Batstateu- Lobo Campus 1. General Requirements. 1.1.mobilization/demobilization 1.2. Drill Two (2) Boreholes At A Designated Location To Straight Into Hard Rock Or Depths Of 46 Meters Each. 1.3. Standard Penetration Tests (spt) Will Be Performed At Every 1.5-m. 1.4. Tests For Representative Samples A) Sieve Analysis (classification) B) Natural Moisture Content C) Grain-size Analysis D) Atterberg’s Limits E) Unit Weight F) Unconfined Compression Tests (at Least 10 Total) G) Other Tests As Required By Foundation Consultant 1.5. Ground Water Elevation Reckoned From A Fixed Datum. 2. A Factual Geotechnical Investigation Report In Five (5) Copies Consisting Of The Following Will Be Submitted After The Field And Laboratory Works Are Completed: 2.1. Borehole Log And Soil Profile 2.2. Field Observations/pictures 2.3. Geology And Seismicity 2.4. Laboratory And Field Test Results 2.5. Evaluation And Recommendations 3.1. The Geotechnical Engineer Will Be Required To Visit The Site Once Excavation Has Started, To Confirm Findings. 3.2. Borehole Locations Can Be Adjusted On Site (approximately 3meters Maximum In Any Direction, If Accessibility Problems Exist). 3.3. Part Of The Geotechnical Engineer Recommendations Shall Deal With The Specific Codeprescribed Soil And Site Parameters For The Buildings Seismic Analysis Including The Distance From The Source, Seismic Source Type, Soil Profile Type, Water Table Elevations, Slope Protection Recommendations, Discussion On The Provisions For Under Drains Or A Pressure Slab Design For The Slabon-grade And Suggested Drainage Solutions, Slope Stability Requirements At The Site, Driven Piles And Bored Pile Strength Capacities If Deemed Necessary. 3.4.
