The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on the class of the bidder. For class 'B', the bidder should have one graduate Engineer with a minimum experience of 5 years and one diploma Engineer with a minimum experience of 5 years. The bidder should have completed three works costing not less than Rs.40 lakhs each, or two works costing not less than Rs.50 lakhs each, or one work costing not less than Rs.80 lakhs each. For class 'C', the bidder should have one graduate Engineer with a minimum experience of 3 years or one diploma Engineer with a minimum experience of 5 years. The bidder should have completed three works costing not less than Rs.20 lakhs each, or two works costing not less than Rs.25 lakhs each, or one work costing not less than Rs.40 lakhs. For class 'D', the bidder should have one graduate Engineer with a minimum experience of 2 years or one diploma Engineer with a minimum experience of 3 years. The bidder should have completed three works costing not less than Rs.10 lakhs each, or two works costing not less than Rs.12.50 lakhs each, or one work costing not less than Rs.20 lakhs. For category 'S', the bidder should have one graduate Engineer with minimum experience of 5 years and two diploma Engineers with minimum experience of 5 years. The bidder should have completed three works costing not less than Rs.320 lakhs each, or two works costing not less than Rs.400 lakhs each, or one work costing not less than Rs.640 lakhs each. The average annual turnover for three consecutive years should not be less than Rs.240 lakhs. For category 'A', the bidder should have one graduate Engineer with minimum experience of 5 years and one diploma Engineer with minimum experience of 5 years. The bidder should have completed three works costing not less than Rs.80 lakhs each, or two works costing not less than Rs.100 lakhs each, or one work costing not less than Rs.160 lakhs each. The average annual turnover for three consecutive years should not be less than Rs.60 lakhs. The financial capability of the bidder should be at least 30% of the value of the contract. The working capital required is not less than Rs.40 lakhs for category 'S' and not less than Rs.10 lakhs for category 'A'. The percentage of payment to a third party is limited to 10% of the agreement amount of work.
