Expression of Interest: Consultant for Economic analyst/coordinator-cita-n11 the asian development bank is working with government of indonesia in designing and implementing reforms for the proposed program on competitiveness, industrial modernization and trade acceleration (cita). As part of the support, adb also help in boosting the capacity of implementing agencies to undertake the proposed reforms under cita. The expected outcome of cita is to increase potential growth by improving competitiveness and modernizing industrial policy and enhancing trade. Outputs of cita are (i) boosting competitiveness and accelerating investment; (ii) upgrading and diversifying manufacturing sector and export promotion; and (iii) strengthening local competitiveness and economic development. An economic analyst/coordinator for cita program is required to provide support to the adb project team and the executing agency (ea) in ensuring relevance and contribution of cita to the overall priority economic program in indonesia, thus facilitating achievements of the reforms agenda under cita. The economic analyst/coordinator is also expected to contribute to a well-designed and successfully implemented cita. Scope of Work: the economic analyst/coordinator will work as part of the cita team in providing technical work within coordinating ministry of economic affairs (cmea) for activities under the cita program, and other issues as requested by cmea. This will include managing the day-to-day operations, providing quick research and analysis on the program activities and its relation with other relevant programs under economic affairs, and collaborating with relevant line agencies as required. The project analyst will be reporting to the secretary of cmea and adb project officer.
