The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having executed and received payments for civil engineering construction work in the last five years. The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover of at least the amount equal to the estimated cost of works for three years, indexed at a rate of 8 percent per year. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, at least one similar work equal to 75% in value or two similar works equal to 40% in value of the estimated cost of work. Additionally, the bidder should have completed at least 30% of the value of construction work required to be completed after half of the completion period has elapsed. The bidder is also required to provide information on the total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years, as well as details of works performed as a prime contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The subcontracting components should not exceed 25% of the contract price. The amount of Rs. 9,52,000.00 is mentioned as the amount of Earnest Money, but it is not related to the prior work experience or similar works completed. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. The calculation of Assessed Available Bid capacity is as follows: Assessed Available Bid capacity = ( A*N*M -B ), where A is the maximum value of civil engineering works executed, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the works, M is 2.5, and B is the value of existing commitments and ongoing works.
