One of the goals is to create an area of approx. 30 hectares on which the central location of the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) for up to 7,000 employees is to be built. After the conclusion of an urban development and landscape planning ideas competition in October 2024, the urban development design is currently being drawn up, which further develops and concretizes the winning design of the competition. This is to serve as the basis for the development plan. On April 2nd, the city council of the state capital Wiesbaden intends to pass a resolution in accordance with Section 2 Paragraph 1 of the Building Code to draw up the development plan with amendments to the land use plan in a parallel procedure.
