We are developing an exposome GC-MS assay measuring a wide range of chemicals. Many of these chemicals are present at low concentrations and are often not yet characterized with the GC-MS method, or often not present yet in MS/MS libraries. For the development of the assay we need a mass spectrometer with a high resolution of up to 60.000 (at m/z 200), a sensitive mass spectrometer (detection limit for OFN 6 fg or better), and a high analytical dynamic range of 6 orders of magnitude.
