The treatment has just started, and there are two surgeons in Bergen Health Trust (Norwegian: Helse Bergen HF) working with this. Pectus carinatum is a condition that can be treated according to given criteria. The patients are relatively young, and taking care of the patient is an important task that is carried out by the supplier and the contracting authority jointly. The treatment requires close interaction between therapist and patient. The therapist's subjective experience of functionality, user-friendliness and material quality is one of the criteria that will be used as a basis for choosing a product.
