The RFT was to establish a multiple party framework for the review and technical evaluation of project applications for the Communities Energy Grant (CEG) Scheme. The objective was to provide assurance that the energy savings indicated are engineeringly robust. The providers will be required to assist in the efficient administration and delivery of the CEG scheme and could be assigned any one or more of the following tasks: a) Initial determination and subsequent verification of the energy savings and energy credits associated with supported projects, based on technical workbooks and supporting technical product specifications. b) Undertaking technical evaluations and value for money assessments of applications This may require an onsite visit with potential clients from time to time. c) Evaluations will be in one or more sectors/buildings as outlined in the tender documents.
