Charter for North Coast Mooring Recovery-(SC Ref:778023) Scottish Ministers through the Marine Directorate (MD) invites tenders from suitable vessels to undertake the recovery of acoustic listening stations off the North Coast of Scotland. The MD deploys moorings to enable effective monitoring of migratory fish and marine mammals. These moorings extend no more than 5 meters from the sea bed, have no surface buoy and are normally recovered these via an acoustic release mechanism.
