Supply of Gamma Irradiation Indicator Labels for Welsh Blood Service-The Welsh Blood Service (WBS) does not have a current contract for supply of radiation indicator labels. The WBS irradiate red cell, platelet and leucocyte concentrates for immune supressed patients. The irradiation process will minimise the number of viable donor lymphocytes transfused with an aim to prevent graft versus host (GVH) disease.
