Establishing repair centre for repairing of failed distribution Transformers: Collection of failed Distribution Transformers from the concerned Divisional Store, releasing the oil, removing HV/LV coils and other unserviceable parts, transportation of tank, core etc., to identified repair center, repairing the Transformer using new HT & LT coils, painting, replacement of bushing, and other parts wherever necessary, Filling up the Transformer with EHV grade reclaimed/new transformer oil from the approved vendor of MESCOM/KPTCL, under buy back (contaminated oil and released coil) basis and testing the repaired Transformers as per the terms and conditions of repair/tender clause in the presence of MESCOM representatives including loading and unloading of transformers
