Louth County Council Mount Avenue Link Road-It is proposed to construct a new link road which will consist of wideningthe northern part of the existing Mount Avenue Road and theconstruction of approximately 700m of new road through a greenfieldsite before joining the R178 again by means of an existing access road tothe Lis Na Dara Housing estate. The central / northern end of the existingMount Avenue road beside the ESb substation will become a cul-de-sacafter Ard Easmuinn Road as part of the works.
