Secure passport design services are required to assist the Passport Service in the development of the new Irish passport book. The Contracting Authority requires a comprehensive design for the new Irish passport book and card. The successful Tenderer will be required to work with multiple suppliers within the Contracting Authority’s production environment to deliver a full passport book and card design that incorporates modern, proven security features with Irish cultural and heritage themes.

The Government of Ireland currently has an Embassy in Singapore located on Floor 8 Liat Towers, No.541 Orchard Road, Singapore. The Embassy now intends to co-locate with state other agencies to a larger location within the Central Business District to form a New Ireland House office. A Project Management led design team is required to assist the Embassy with the procurement of a building contractor and the design delivery of a completed office space. An ‘Ireland House’ is a Consulate or Embassy that co-locates with other state agencies or North/South bodies and presents a uniform and coherent brand for Ireland abroad, building on the Team Ireland concept of shared services and facilities, and collaborative working practices. For the purposes of this tender, the Embassy of Ireland Singapore will be the client.

A highly efficient and professional ICT Support Service is required to support Department of Foreign Affairs staff across the Department in achieving their business objectives. The successful service provider will be expected to provide quality, on-site resources for the ICT Support Service to support, maintain, and enhance ICT services. Engineers will respond to a wide range of ICT-related queries from staff at any office of the Department by email, telephone and online from the Department’s offices in 76-78 Harcourt Street and 23-27 Henry Street, Limerick, or via remote access where needed. The ICT Support Service will also be expected to be involved in a range of critically required proactive support services including, but not limited to, designing, developing and implementing changes to the Department’s ICT Infrastructure (voice, telecommunications and data services), server and end-user device builds, as well as providing input to ICT development projects.
