Providing and fixing Glow studs of size 100x20 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35 (+/- 5) degress to base .The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro- reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

Providing and laying Recycled Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam blend of upto 30% (by weight of total hot mix) reclaimed bituminous materials and 70% (by weight of total hot mix) new materials of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, filler and rejuvenators as required, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller as per specification to achieve the desired compaction and density, complete ar per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. 50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness with final bitumen content @5% of grade VG-30 and lime filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of Aggregates). Necessary checks, evaluation as per MORTH specification for job mix design shall be carried out on the expenses of contractor before hauling and stock piling the reclaimed materials near the central recycle plant. (The rate of this item is including of all the operation mentioned in nomenclature and also necessary to complete the execution of this items. No extra shall be paid for hauling & stock piling etc.)

Cold milling of existing bituminous layer upto depth 25 to 100 mm by milling machine to make uniform surface with required slope /camber without disturbing the base layer, planning the surface after cold milling, removable/ cleaning/ brooming of the surface and removing left out material, loading the milled material into tippers and removing /disposal to hot mix plant or any other approved dumping location including loading unloading, all leads lifts and etc all completes as per directions Engineer in charge. (Cost of mechanical brooming has been included in item No. 1 of tack coat ).

Providing & Fixing solar stud as per specification : Aluminium alloy shell 100% water proof design according to Ip65, Dimension : 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm). High efficiency mono-crysttaline solar panel 2:4 V/0.3 watt. one Ni Mh or Ni. cd rechargeable battery (1.2 V/1600MA), Six super bright LEDs with 10000 to 18000 mcd (Millicandela), view distance upto 1000mtr. Flash rate: 2Hz or according to costumers requirements, bearable weight : 10 tons approx, colour : Yellow, Red, Blue, Green or White, working time : 3 to 4 days after fully charged battery, charging time 5 to 8 hrs from direct sunlight, working temp : 100-175c, lift span : three to five year easy installation free operation, automatically turns on at night and turns off at down high visibility LED's ensure easy and safe night driving as approved by Engineer-in-charge. The Stud shall be fixed to manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying stone matrix Asphalt (SMA) using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and lime filler and cellulose fiber transporting the hot to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the. required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and density as per MORTH specification (5th revision) clause no. 515, complete in all respects and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. 40/50 mm compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 6% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 3% (minimum) (percentage by weight of Aggregate) and bitumen coated cellulose fiber pellets @ 0.30% of total mix, prepared in Batch Type Hot Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity. Note:- The overall minimum bitumen content shall be 6% of total mix and lime filler @ 3% (minimum) (percentage by weight of Aggregate) and bitumen coated cellulose fiber pellets @ 0.30% of total mix. Nothing extra shall be paid for variation in materials in as per mix, design.

Credit for salvage value of milled bituminous material received from cold milling but not used in the recycled bituminous mix.
