4 Cleaning of filter media & sedimentation pit including the following:-
(a) Removal of leaves, polythene, other organic & inorganic materials found deposited over the top layer of filter media. (b) Taking out existing filter media of size 40-80mm stone aggregate, 20-40 gravel and coarse sand from filter media pits and placing separately.
(c) Washing of filter media using pressure pump of appropriate size.
(d) Putting back filter media in filter media pits in proper layers of different sizes of media.
(e) Replenishing shortage of filter media of any size so that filter media is reset in full quantity.
(f) Removal any sit/muck found deposited in sedimentation pit constructed constructed for rain water harvesting system.
All complete as per the directions of Engineer-In-Charge.
