Supplying and installation of floating Trash Boom of section length 25m with ASTM connectors for interconnection. Trash boom shall be permanently inflated made of synthetic fabric such as nylon or polyester coated with PVC. The tensile strength shall be around 180 - 200Kgf as per (IS: 7016 Part II/1421). The freeboard shall be about 280mm and skirt of about 300mm. The colour of the boom needs to be safety orange. The boom should have a tensile member. All accessories including Shore anchor, danforth anchor, tow bridle, ropes, buoys etc shall be supplied for installation. At each 25m connection, an anchor has to be deployed as per specifications and drawings complete in all respects for controlling trash in flowing waters at various locations as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. The barrier shall be anchored and secured to the sides of the water body as per manufacturer's specifications. The floating trash boom of similar designs can be used after prior approval of Engineer-in-charge.

Removal and collection of floating material, garbage, slush and other unhygenic deposits etc. from the drain at collecting points mannually or by deploying Pocklain machine having boom length of 60' or 18 metre including hire charges of machine its maintenance, cost of fuel, lubricants and operator etc. and cost of transportation of machine to site for rehandling,loading and unloading of collected material for its disposal by mechnical means to Village Singhola (Khampur/Tikari) near DJB Sewage Treatment Plant Sanitary Land Fill / authorized dumping ground with all leads & lifts etc. {Processing fee deposited / paid by contractor to M.C.D. , on actual basis shall be reimbursed by Deparment separately}.
