The required prior work experience for the bidder is that they should have satisfactorily completed similar works of a specified magnitude. The magnitude is specified as: (i) Three similar works, each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tenders, (ii) Two similar works, each of value not less than 60% of the estimated cost, (iii) One similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost. These works should be completed in the last 7 years. The similar work is defined as “Civil Construction/Up-gradation of Govt. buildings and CC Pavement works or RCC framed structures”. The estimated cost of the work is Rs.4,33,81,640/-. Using this, the values for the similar works can be calculated as: (i) 40% of the estimated cost: 0.4 * 4,33,81,640 = Rs.1,73,52,656 (ii) 60% of the estimated cost: 0.6 * 4,33,81,640 = Rs.2,60,29,984 (iii) 80% of the estimated cost: 0.8 * 4,33,81,640 = Rs.3,47,05,312 Additionally, the bidder needs to submit a performance guarantee of 5% (Five percent) of the tendered amount, and the earnest money is Rs.8,67,633. The security deposit is 2.5% (Two point Five percent) of the bill amount, and the percentage on the cost of materials and labor to cover all overheads and profits is 15%.
