The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works within the last five years. The similar works are defined as OEM of brake system in metro/railways rolling stock or any rolling stock work involving supply and installation of control circuits/train lines/Power supply/electrical panels in metro/railways. The bidder must have completed at least one of the following: * At least one “similar work” of value of ₹379.74 lakh or more * At least two “similar works” each of value of ₹237.34 lakh or more * At least three “similar works” each of value of ₹189.87 lakh or more In case of a joint venture (JV)/Consortium, each substantial partner must have experience of executing at least one “similar work” valued at a minimum of ₹189.87 lakhs or more in the last 05 years. Non-substantial partners must have experience of executing at least one Rolling Stock work of minimum value of ₹94.93 lakhs in the last 05 years. The value of successfully completed or substantially completed portion of similar work up to the last day of the month previous to the month of tender submission shall be considered for qualification of work experience. Substantial completion is defined as 80% (value wise) or more works completed under the contract based on original scope of work/revised scope of work, whichever is less. Additionally, if the tenderer is a JV/Consortium having foreign partner(s) and the above work(s) have been executed by the foreign partner of JV and the work(s) were done in the country of the foreign partner, then the foreign partner must have executed works (which need not be similar in nature) of total put together of value ₹189.87 lakh or more outside the country of the foreign partner. The bidder must have executed works of a total value of ₹189.87 lakh or more. In case of a joint venture (JV)/Consortium, each substantial partner must have experience of executing at least one "similar work" of value of ₹189.87 lakhs or more in the last 05 years. A threshold of 10% of the NIT cost of work is mentioned for contracts that should not have been rescinded or terminated due to non-performance. The bidder should not have had any contract of value more than 10% of the NIT cost of work rescinded or terminated by DMRC or any other Metro Organization due to non-performance during the last 03 years. The bidder should also not have been penalized with liquidated damages of 10% (or more) of the contract value due to delay or imposed with a penalty of 10% (or more) of the contract value due to any other reason in any Rolling Stock Engineering works of value more than 10% of the NIT cost of work during the last three years. The percentage of similar works completed is 80% for substantial completion. The values mentioned are ₹379.74 lakh, ₹237.34 lakh, ₹189.87 lakh, and ₹94.93 lakhs. The threshold percentage for contracts is 10%.
