Polymer Modified Mortar for Cracked & Spalled Portions: Building up the profile of structural members 10/25/50 mm average depth by using emulsified SBR latex having solid content not less than 40% and conforming to ASTM C-1059 Type-I/Type-II in damaged areas (1 Cement-3 part graded cleaned river sand + 20% latex by weight of cement) with 0.35 w/c ratio, in maximum 15-20 mm thick layers wise providing SBR bond coat in between successive layers, including levelling profiling complete. Proper moist curing to be done for the repair work. Gunny bags may be used for effective curing. Polypropylene fibers to be added to reduce shrinkage. For measurement, patch area of repair work will be taken. (SBR bond coat will be paid seperately ) (Specification meeting ASTM C-1059 shall approved by EIC before application), all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge (a) 25 mm average thickness

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gram/litre, of approved manufacturer and of required shade and colour all complete to achieve even shade and colour : 13.41.1 New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer having VOC content less than 50 gram/litre

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade : (A) New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm)

Repair to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sqm and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar, including disposal of rubbish, all complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing concertina coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil 600 mm dia 10 metre openable length ( total length 90 m), having 50 nos rounds per 6 metre length, upto 3 m height of wall with existing angle iron ‘Y’ shaped placed 2.4m or 3.00 m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. reinforced barbed wire, stud tied with G.I. staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, with reinforced barbed tape(R.B.T.) / Spring core (2.5mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165 kg/ sq.mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) and weight 43.478 gm/ metre (cost of M.S. angle, C.C. blocks shall be paid separately)

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. (a) In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works

Providing and laying water proofing treatment on roofs of slabs byapplying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compoundconsisting of applying: (a) after surface preparation, first layer of slurry of cement @0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/sqm.(b) laying second layer of Fibre glass cloth when the first layer isstill green. Overlaps of joints of fibre cloth should not be lessthan 10 cm. (c) third layer of 1.5 mm thickness consisting of slurry of cement@ 1.289 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound@ 0.670 kg/sqm and coarse sand @ 1.289 kg/sqm. This willbe allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed by water curing for48 hours. The entire treatment will be taken upto 30 cm onparapet wall and tucked into groove in parapet all around.
