The required prior work experience for the bidder is that they should have satisfactorily completed similar works during the last 7 years ending the previous day of the last date of submission of tender. The similar works requirements are as follows: a) Three similar works costing equal to 40% of the estimated cost. b) Two similar works costing equal to 60% of the estimated cost. c) One similar work costing equal to 80% of the estimated cost. The value of executed work shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum, calculated from the date of completion to the last date of receipt of the application for tender. Similar work means “Construction of Cement concrete road” during the last seven years. The bidder needs to provide details of similar works completed, including the name of the work/project, owner or sponsoring organization, cost of work, dates of commencement and completion, and litigation/arbitration pending/in progress. Experience of the firm for constructing concrete roads and other similar projects as applicable, as well as timely and qualitatively completion of works undertaken, is required.
