The rates shall include all dressing of bank to final profile, demarcation and setting out of profile, site clearance, removing of shrubs, roots of vegetations growth, heavy grass, benching of existing slope of old bank, all handling/re-handling. taxes, octroi and royalty etc. as a complete job. Cut trees shall be property of railways and to be deposited in the railway godown unless specified otherwise in the Special conditions of contract

Providing and laying cement concrete, up to plinth in retaining walls, walls (any thickness) 6 including attached plasters, columns, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets etc, excluding the cost of cement and of shuttering, centering. 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position M 20 Grade concrete for reinforced concrete structural elements but excluding cost of centering, shuttering, reinforcement and Admixtures in recommended proportion (as per IS:9103) to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer in charge All work upto plinth level, including raft foundation of washable aprons, HS tank, pile cap, footings of FOB, and Platform shelter etc.

Providing and laying in position machine mixed, machine vibrated and machine batched Design Mix Cement Concrete M35 grade (Cast - in Situ) In Bottom/top slab, side walls, toe wall and sumps haunch filling head walls or any other component using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate and coarse sand 12 of approved quality of cast-in-situ RCC box of size upto 5 M (bigger inside dimension) including finishing, Admixtures in recommended proportions (as per IS 9103), if approved in Mix design, to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability, complete as per drawings and technical specifications as directed by Engineer in charge. Providing and fixing 75 mm PVC soil, waste and vent pipes including jointing and cost of spun yarn and sand etc., complete

Leading miscellaneous materials such as iron work, rails, pipes, wooden logs, stones over 17 pitching stone size, RCC/PCC beams / slabs etc. and all similar articles (each individual article or bundle being more than 3.5 metres long in the longest direction) by truck, trailor, etc including all loading, unloading and stacking, lead over 500m and upto 10 km. Note : Lead under this item is payable when the same exceeds 500m.

Providing and applying two coats of coal tar or bitumen confirming to IS 3117 - 1965 on the top and sides of RCC box/slabs @ 1.70 Kgs / Sqm after cleaning the surface with all labour and materials complete job as directed by the Engineer

Renewal of sleepers i.e.removing the existing sleepers and its fastenings including stacking them outside track clearing removed sleepers from all infringement to moving dimenson inserting new sleepers 4 at specified spacings alongwith fastening, including tightening of fastening (sleepers at site involving lead not more than 100m.) including leading of both new and released sleepers and fastenings from site to track & vice- versa. Renewal of ordinary wooden or CI or steel sleepers by concrete sleepers irrespective of any sleeper density existed and to be provided for.

Collecting & stacking wooden /steel /C.I. sleepers ready for loading in D.M.T. within a lead of 30m. (C.I. sleeper means two plates & one tie bar) including existing track fittings and fastenings i.e. keys, cotters, bearing plates, fish plates, fish bolts, tie bars etc.

Loading PSC sleepers in BFRs including existing fitting and fastening i.e. pendrol clips, rubber pads, liners, fish plate & bolts etc. during traffic block including lead upto 30m.

Trollying rails and sleepers under traffic block by Rly's diplorry including loading into diplorry upto 30m lead, unloading and stacking at the destination as per direction of Engineer-in-charge with a free lead upto 30m.and carrying the rails over diplorries upto 1 Km. Through packing of screened track as described in Indian Rly.'s permanent Way Manual of any type of sleeper before relaxation of speed-1st packing including picking up slacks in between kutcha packing and 1st packing as per requirement.

Supplying skilled/artisan staff like welder, moulder, chipper, lutter, aligner, striker/hammerman & adequate Nos. of semi-skilled and unskilled labour and supplying petrol @ 1.6 litres/joint for facilitating welding works on track by shifting the joint sleepers upto 30cm. (1' - 0") on either side, providing 16 suitable gap of about 23mm to 25mm.by pulling back of rail including removing keys, spikes & other fastenings as required and refixing the same after welding, clearing the rail ends, fixing the Petrol tank & heating the rail, ends by railways/approved Contractors equipment and chipping the excess materials if required, bringing the shifted joint sleepers to the specific spacing and packing them to the required specification as directed including adjustment of required gaps for welding, aligning, levelling etc. complete including Contractor's own files for filing after welding in running track.

Through packing of screened track as per Indian Rly.'s permanent Way Manual of any type of sleeper before relaxation of speed-2nd packing or 3rd packing.The item also includes picking up of slacks between 1st packing and 2nd packing or between 2nd packing and 3rd packing.
