Providing and fixing double/tripple scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior/interior side of building/structue, upto any height, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner asper reqiurement of site, made with 40mm dia. M.S. tube placed at 1.5m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. Staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., and maintaining the system in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc., wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc.complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-In-Charge. The item includes providing and erecting the safety net of opening 75x75x12mm size and sturdy GI corrugated arrester tray at 1st floor level of the building/structure, to prevent the debris falling on ground during progress of work and keeping the same during the entire period of work.

Note :- 1) For low height repair works, where single scaffolding, ladder etc., is used, meaurement & payment will not be considered in this item & rate for this is deemed to have been included in repair items 2.) The Volume of scaffolding ( length of scaffolding to be measured end to end vertical tubes, breadth of scaffolding to be measured end to end of vertical tubes & height to be measured upto top challies +1.5 m, from ground level) shall be measured for payment purpose.3 For double scaffolding system measurement to be done from elevational end of tripple scaffolding system where tripple scaffolding system will required other wise it will measured from ground level.4 The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

Removing/chipping loose concrete upto and including 40 mm average depth (excluding plastering) carefully by manual or low impact frequency hammer without damaging the existing concrete and cleaning the surface by compressed air jet complete, including removal of loose concrete around the reinforecment. The debris shall be disposed upto a lead of 100m. The entire surface will be checked by light hammering (using 1 kg hammer) for detection of loose concrete. Edges of chipped patch will bear vertical/reverse cut with minimum depth at edges as 10 mm. (Prepared patches to be got checked before applying bond coat). All loose/sound concrete around corroded bars have to be removed to prepare well defined path.
