Supplying, spreading and filling coarse sand (no cohesive materials to be used) of approved quality including watering and ramming in foundation, plinth, behind the abutment, wing wall, retaining well in layers not exceeding 150mm thick including its compaction as per direction or Engineer-in-charge. The rate includes all lead, lift ascent, descent, crossing of Railway line etc. complete with contractor's labour, materials, tools and plant.

Earthwork in cutting (classified) in formation, trolley refuges. side drains, level crossing approaches, platforms, catch water drains, diversion of nallah & finishing to required dimension and slope to obtain a neat appearance to standard profile inclusive of all labour, machine & materials and removing & leading all cut spoil either to make spoil dumps beyond 10m from cutting edge or for filling in embankment with all leads within the section limit, lifts, ascent, descent, loading, unloading, all taxes/royalty, clearance of site and all incidental charge, bailing & pumping out water, if required, etc. complete as per directions of the Engineer–in-charge. The work is to be executed as per latest updated edition of "Guidelines for Earthwork n Railway Projects" issued by RDSO, Lucknow. Cut trees shall be property of SECL and to be deposited in the SECL Godown unless specified otherwise in the Special Conditions of Contract.

Note - (i) All usable earth arising from cut spoils shall be led into bank formation and Unusable spoils shall be dumped/ stacked (11) All hard rock/and boulders not fit for filling will be stacked by the contractor and will be property of the SECL. 

In all conditions and classifications of soil except rock. 

SCHEDULE-B (EXECUTION OF FOUNDATON AND SUBSTRUCTURE)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified proportion excluding cost of cement, centering, shuttering, all works upto plinth level 1:3:6( 1 Cement: 3 sand : 6 stone chips)

Providing and laying in position machine mixed, machine vibrated and machine batched Designs Mix Cement Concrete M35 grade (Cast-in-Situ) in pile cap, raft, pier/abutement/pier & abutement cap, bottom/top slab, side walls, toe wall and sumps haunch, filling head walls or any other component using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate and coarse sand of approved quality of cast in-situ including finishing, Admixtures in recommended proportions (as per IS 9103), if approved in Mix design, to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability, complete as per drawings and technical specifications as directed by Engineer in- charge. Shuttering is included in the rate. No extra payment will be made towards shuttering. Payment for cement and reinforcement shall be paid extra. 

Cement Concrete Pavement (Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed, plain cement concrete pavement as per IRC:58 over a prepared sub-base, coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383 and graded as par table 600-3) mixed in a batching and mixing plant as per approved mix design, transported to site, laid with a fixed form or slip form paver, spread, compacted and finished in a continuous operation including provision of contraction, expansion construction and longitudinal joints, joint filler, separation membrane, sealant primer, joint sealant, debonding strip, dowel bar, tie rod, admixtures as approved, curing compound, finishing to lines and grades as par drawing as per clause 602.) Payment for Cement shall be paid extra. With Cement concrete grade M-40 and minimum cement content @ 400 kg/cum. (Payment for Cement shall be paid extra) 

Providing and laying in position machine mixed, machine vibrated and machine batched Design Mix Cement Concrete M35 grade (Cast in-Situ) using 20min graded crushed stone aggregate and coarse sand of approved quality for the following Reinforced cement concrete structural elements up to height of 10m from foundation top level, including finishing, using Admixtures in recommended proportions (as per IS:9103), if approved in Mix design to accelerate or retard setting of concrete and/or improve workability without impairing strength and durability complete as per specifications and direction of the Engineer in-charge. Shuttering is included in the rate. No extra payment will be made towards shuttering. Payment for cement and reinforcement shall be paid extra. Wing Wall & Return Wall.

Providing and laying in position machine mixed, machine vibrated and machine batched Design Mix Mass Cement Concrete M-25 grade (cast in-situ) using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate and coarse sand of approved quality in Drop and curtain wall and alike structures below bed level, including the cost of centring, shuttering and finishing complete as per drawings and technical specifications as directed by Engineer. Payment for cement & reinforcement shall be paid extra 

SCHEDULE-C (SUPPLY OF REINFORCEMENT STEEL)

Steel reinforcement for RCC. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and bindling all complete. Thermo-Machanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more

SCHEDULE-D (SUPPLY OF CEMENT)

Supply of Cement (OPC 43 or 53 Grade) at Site, including loading, unloading, stacking transportation and storage as per direction of Engineer in-charge. The rate also includes cost for supply loading, unloading and transportation etc. 

SCHEDULE-E (EXECUTION OF PROTECTION WORK)

Providing and applying two coats of coal tar or bitumen confirming to IS:3117-1965 on the top and sides of RCC box/slab @ 1.70kg/sqm after cleaning the surface with all labour and materials complete job as directed by the Engineer. 

Supplying. Providing and Laying Boulder Backing behind wing wall, return wall, retaining wall with hand packed boulders & cobbles with smaller size boulders towards the back including all lead, lift, Labour & other incidental charges as complete work in all respect. Cost of Boulder cobbles are inclusive 

SCHEDULE-F (EXECUTION OF MISC WORK)

Lettering with black Japan paint of approved brand and manufacture.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective sign boards made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC ; 67.2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class 2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable size aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with the resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. M.S. angles of size 35x35x3 mm to a vertical post made up to M.S. Tee section ISMT 50x50x6 mm welded with base plate of size 100x100x5 mm at the bottom end and including making holes in pipes, angles flats, providing & fixing M.S. message plate of required size, steel work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade and of approved brand & manufacture over priming coat of zinc chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-Toe support to be painted in black

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective overhead signage boards made up of 2 mm thick aluminium short face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type-III of ASTM-D 4956-01 as approved by Engineer-in-charge, letters, borders etc, as per IRC:67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets or bolts & nuts @ 300 mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows along with theft resistant measures, including the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of aluminium sheet including appropriate priming coat. SCHEDULE- G (EXECUTION OF SUPERSTRUCTURE WORK_ RCC & STEEL)

Supplying of all types of structural steel conforming to Fe 410 B of IS 2062, fabrication, assembling, erection / slewing and launching of steel girders (not requiring traffic block) upto 45.7m span on sub structure including provision of trolley refuges, if required complete as per approved drawing including one coat of Zinc chrome primer to IS:104 & one coat of Zinc chrome Red Oxide to IS-2074 and painting as per RS-B-I on all members (detailed fabrication and erection drawings & launching methodology will be prepared and got approved by the Contractor from Railway). Rate includes fabrication of all the types of battens, bracings, ties, stiffeners, packing, diaphragms, shop rivets / welding, T&F bolts, drifts, shop welds, templates, jigs, fixtures, back up supports, accessories, transporting various components from fabrication shop to site, including loading, unloading. lift and taxes complete, assembly a girders on drifts bolts, field riveting/ welding, assembling a temporary support for side slewing, raising of girders to the bed block level, providing sliding arrangements and slewing the girder in position, lowering of girder on bearings and bed plates. grouting holes in the bed block for fixing of HD bolts/anchor pins of bed. The bearing sets to - be provided with the girders will be paid separately as per relevant item separately.
