The required prior work experience for the bidder includes satisfactorily completing or substantially completing similar works in their own name or as a member of a Joint Venture. For works in Normal Areas, the bidder should have completed at least one similar work of minimum value of Rs 134.86 Lakh or at least two similar works each of minimum value of Rs 82.99 Lakh during the last 7 years. For works in Difficult Areas, the specific values are not mentioned. Additionally, each partner in a Joint Venture should have satisfactorily completed in their own name or proportionate share as a member of a Joint Venture, at least one similar work of minimum value of 10% of the estimated cost of work during the last 7 years. The bidder should have also completed at least one similar work of value minimum 25% of estimated cost of work in India in the last seven years, but another source mentions 40% of estimated cost of work. A weightage of 7% (compounded annually) shall be given for equating the value of works to the last stipulated date for submission of the Bids. The value of similar work shall be calculated excluding the element of GST on works Contract Service. Substantially Completed Work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. The percentage of similar works completed is 90% of the present contract value, excluding the payment made for adjustment of Price variation (PVC), if any. An example amount of Rs 1,00,000 is mentioned for calculating the value of work after giving weightage. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed at least one similar work of minimum value of Rs. 82.99 Lakh during the last 7 years prior to the last stipulated date for submission of the Bid. Alternatively, the bidder should have completed at least two similar works each of minimum value of Rs. 82.99 Lakh during the same period.
