Water proof ABS electric distribution box, weather proof IP-65 protection suitable for outdoor use, pole mounted, factory made of size 300mm x 250mm x 150mm comprising one No. MCB SP 6 Amps, 240 volts TPN bus bar not less than 25mm x 5mm aluminium strip and fixing clamps of size 25mm x 5mm two nos including necessary nuts, bolts and locking arrangement with lock, pressure type, four Nos connection holes in each bus bar with nuts, bolts and washers made of galvanized iron and connection thimble etc. fixed as in replacment ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding techique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of up to 150mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil n. exc. 1.5m deep and n. exc. 1.5m in width and getting out including forming bottom surface to required slope/ gradient for laying cables/ pipes etc. , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Notes: (i) Excavation shall be done carefully to avoid damage of existing cables and protection covers. (ii) Excavation work may be got carried out in short lengths for locating fault in underground cables at different locations.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil exc. 1.50 m deep and n. exc. 3.0 m in width and getting out including forming bottom surface to required slope/ gradient for laying cables/ pipes etc. , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Notes: (i) Excavation shall be done carefully to avoid damage of existing cables and protection covers. (ii) Excavation work may be got carried out in short lengths for locating fault in underground cables at different locations.

Returning filling in excavated soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers, each layer not exceeding 25mm thick in soft/ loose soil , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Removing excavated spoil n. exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5m above the starting point , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Sand cushioning to under ground cable with clean dry river sand in layer of sand 8cm thick before laying of cable and 15 cm after laying of cable, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note- For payment purpose punned thickness of 18 cm shall be measured against spread thickness of 23 cm as mentioned in para 19.75 of SSR Part-I.

Protection of cable with one layer of bricks laid flat butting to each other in such a way that the length of the bricks is at right angle to the central axis of the cable using old size sub-class ‘B’ bricks, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation old painted surfaces of LT steel poles 9.00m long and painting applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint in 30cm wide strips alternate in black and yellow colour upto 1.5 mtr height above muff and the remaining portion with one coat of aluminium paint and writing pole no on pole with white paint , complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Aluminium cable lugs suitable for 10 Sqmm to 25 Sqmm size cable fixed as in replacment ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Aluminium cable lugs suitable for 35 Sqmm to 50 Sqmm size cable fixed as in replacment ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Note : (i) 1 run of 2.5 Sqmm ,1 run of PVC conduit & 1 run of 2.5 Sqmm cable will be measured as single run. (ii) Extra length of cables/wire required for connection to MCBs shall not be measured and paid separetly the rate quoted by contractor per unit shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of this item.

Street light bracket made out of 40mm dia medium grade GI tubing 1.5 m long , fabricated to required shape and angle as per site requirement with and including MS clamps sizee 30mm x 6mm with nuts, bolts, washers etc fixed as in replacment ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

MCCB four pole, 63 Amps, 415 volts, 16kA breaking capacity with adjustable thermal setting having Ics= 100% Icu including commissioning and testing in and including taking down the existing one ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Site clearance including cutting of grass/ trimming of all bushes/ small trees upto a height of 10 feet in surrounding areas of perimeter security lights, E/M installations, panels, bus bar chambers etc. including sprinkling of herbicide solution as per manufacturer's instructions , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mmx 600mm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanised iron strip of size 25mm x 4mm by means of bolts, nut check nuts and washers earth strip protected by galvanized steel pipe 40mm bore (light grade) connected to test point all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 (Part-I) and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20mm bore medium grade GI pipe for watering, funnel with wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 chamber, pit cover of precast RCC (1;2:4), type B-1 reinforced XPM of weight not less than 4 Kg/ Sqm and MS frame etc. complete & connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including brazing/ testing on completion in and including taking down old unservicable earthing , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Notes:- (i) The unit rate includes galvanised Iron strip and protection pipe upto (maximum 7.5m from earth plate) earth point/ test point.Qty required beyond 7.5 mtrs shall be measured and paid separaely under respective item. Disconnecting the all connections and lowering the flood light holding arrangement of high mast tower 16 to 20 mtr height and removing bolts and nuts at the bottom with the help of crane/motor and removing the worn out /cut stainless steel GI wire unservicable pulley,shafts checknuts etc including fixing new spares,applying grease, checking and rectifying mechanical and electrical connections and re-erecting the same after making functional of all components , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Note:(i) Necessary Spares shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item/items of the schedule as supply and fixing. The rate for minor spares necessary for carryingout the repair work which are all not covered under the schedule shall also deemed to be included the quoted rate. (ii) The rate quoted deemed to be included the rate of all manpower including technicians, crane operator etc. and all tools and plants including crane/motor required to carryout above work. (iii) The light assembly shall also be checked twice in the contract period other than the repairing time by taking down the light assembly from top to bottom and taking up to the original position (i.e. from bottom to top) after completing the repair work if any including checking the serviceability of high mast operating mechanism.
