The bidder's prior work experience should include the completion of similar works. Specifically, the bidder must have satisfactorily completed as a prime contractor or subcontractor at least one similar work of a value not less than 25% of the amount put to bid. Additionally, the bidder must have completed similar works with a value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five financial years, updated to the price level of the preceding financial year in which bids are invited. The lead partner in a Joint Venture (JV) must meet not less than 50% of the qualification criteria, while each of the remaining partners in a JV must meet not less than 25% of all the qualifying criteria. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the amount put to bid, with at least 50% of this turnover coming from civil engineering construction works, in any one of the last five years.
