The bidder should have satisfactorily completed as a prime contractor or subcontractor at least one similar work of an agreement of value not less than 25% of the amount put to bid. This indicates that the required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works with a value of at least 25% of the bid amount. Additionally, the bidder must have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the amount put to bid, with at least 50% of this turnover being from civil engineering construction works. The turnover will be indexed at the rate of 8% per year. The bidder must also have completed works as a prime contractor or subcontractor in the same name and style, with a total monetary value of turnover and civil construction works performed for each of the last five years. In the case of a Joint Venture, the lead partner must meet not less than 50% of the qualification criteria, and each of the remaining partners must meet not less than 25% of all the qualifying criteria. The Joint Venture must also collectively satisfy the requirements of the criteria. The cutoff date for experience certificates of similar work is the last date of the month before the last date of receipt of tender. For example, if the last date of receipt of tender is in the month of June 2025, then experience certificates of similar work shall be considered for the period starting from 1st of June 2020 up to 31st of May 2025. Therefore, the required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - At least one similar work with a value of not less than 25% of the amount put to bid. - A minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the amount put to bid, with at least 50% of this turnover being from civil engineering construction works. - Completion of works as a prime contractor or subcontractor in the same name and style for each of the last five years. - For Joint Ventures, the lead partner must meet 50% of the qualification criteria, and each remaining partner must meet 25% of the qualifying criteria.
