The bidder should have experience of performing works as a prime contractor or subcontractor on construction works of a similar nature and value over the last five years. The bidder should provide certificates from the concerned client/employer for the works performed and information on the monetary values of turnover and civil construction works performed for each of the last five years. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature and value, with a minimum value of works performed as a prime contractor or subcontractor of not less than the percentage specified in the Bid Data Sheet of the contract price. The bidder should also provide proposals for sub-contracting, which should not exceed 28 percent of the contract price. The bidder's prior work experience is assessed based on the value of civil engineering works executed in the last five financial years. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five financial years, updated at the rate of 8% per year to the price level of the preceding financial year in which bids are invited.
