The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work performed as prime Contractor or Sub-Contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The bidder must have satisfactorily completed, as prime contractor or sub-contractor, at least one similar work of value not less than 30% of the amount put to bid (excluding maintenance cost for five years). For work performed as prime Contractor or Sub-Contractor, the bidder needs to provide information on project details, including project name, employer, description of work, contract value, and dates. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years, with a cutoff date for experience certificate being the last date of the month before the last date of receipt of tender. The percentage of similar works completed is 30% of the bid amount. The bidder should also provide the total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years. Additionally, the bidder should provide information on the total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited. The value of similar work should be not less than 30% of the amount put to bid. The amount put to bid is used to calculate the required value of similar work experience. Subcontracting is allowed for components of the Works, aggregating to not more than 25 percent of the Contract Price.
