The bidder must demonstrate having experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualifying criteria for the individual contracts. To qualify, the bidder must have completed similar works with a value of at least a certain amount. The bidder's experience will be calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in the last five financial years. The bidder must have completed at least a certain percentage of similar works. For Joint Venture firms, the lead partner must meet not less than 50% of the qualification criteria, and each of the remaining partners must meet not less than 25% of the qualifying criteria. The Joint Venture must also collectively satisfy the requirements of the criteria. The bidder must have satisfactorily completed as a prime contractor or subcontractor at least one similar work of a value not less than 25% of the amount put to bid. The bidder should have work experience as a prime contractor in the same name and style or as a subcontractor on construction works of a similar nature and value over the last five years. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature and value. The bidder should not have more than 25 percent of the contract price for subcontracting components of the works for initial rectification, minor improvement, surface renewal, construction of bridges, drainage protection, and other similar works. The bidder must provide details of the total monetary value of turnover and civil construction works performed for each of the last five years. The cutoff date for experience certificates for similar work is the last date of the month before the last date of receipt of the tender. For example, if the tender is received in the month of August 2024, then experience certificates for similar work shall be considered for the period starting from 1st August 2019 up to 31st July 2024. The bidder must have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the amount put to bid, certified by a chartered accountant, and at least 50% of which is from civil engineering construction works.
