The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having worked as a prime contractor, subcontractor, or in a similar capacity, with a total monetary value of turnover and civil construction works performed for each of the last five years. The bidder should have completed works of similar nature and value over the last five years, with certificates from concerned officers not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. The value and percentage of similar works completed are partially specified, with the bidder required to provide information on the total monetary value of turnover and civil construction works performed for each of the last five years. However, the exact percentage is defined in the Bid Data Sheet. A specific percentage is mentioned, which is that proposals for subcontracting components of the construction of roads and bridges should not exceed 25 percent of the contract price. The bidder's existing commitments and ongoing construction work should be submitted in a prescribed format. The bidder should have a certain amount of turnover and civil construction works performed for each of the last five years, and a maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five financial years, updated to the price level of the current financial year in which bids are invited. For bids invited in the financial year 2022-2023 up to 30 September 2024, the calculation will be done up to the previous year (2022-2023). If the bid is invited in the financial year 2022-2023 after 30 September 2024, the indexing will be done up to the previous years (2021-2022, 2022-2023). The bidder should also have completed a certain value of works at the current price level of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the period of completion of the construction of the road bridge for which bids are invited.
