The bidder should have prior work experience as a prime contractor or subcontractor in construction works of a similar nature and value over the last five years. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed as a prime contractor or subcontractor at least one similar work of a value not less than 25% of the amount put to bid. The bidder should have completed similar works during the last five years, with the value of similar works completed considered, taking into account the completed works as well as works in progress. For joint ventures, the lead partner should meet not less than 50% of the qualification criteria, and each of the remaining partners should meet not less than 25% of all the qualifying criteria. The joint venture must also collectively satisfy the requirements of the criteria. The bidder should provide certificates from the concerned officers, not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent, for the works performed. The cutoff date for experience certificates for similar works is the last date of the month before the last date of receipt of tender. The bidder should have completed works with a total monetary value of turnover and civil construction works performed for each of the last five years. The bidder should also provide information on the work performed as a prime contractor or subcontractor on construction works of a similar nature and value over the last five years, with certificates from the concerned officers. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of not more than 25 percent of the contract price for subcontracting of components of the works.
