The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work performed as a prime contractor or sub-contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The bidder needs to provide information on project details such as project name, employer, description of work, contract value, and completion dates. For similar works completed, the bidder must have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than 30% of the amount put to bid, excluding maintenance cost for five years. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. In terms of specific values and percentages, the subcontracting of components of the works should not exceed 25 percent of the Contract Price. For joint ventures, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50% of qualification criteria, and each of the remaining partners shall meet not less than 25% of all the criteria. The available bid capacity of the bidder must be more than the total bid value excluding Five Year Maintenance Cost.
