The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed as a prime contractor or subcontractor at least one similar work of an agreement of value not less than 25% of the amount put to bid. This experience should be within a specific period, which is from the 1st of the month five years prior to the last date of receipt of tender up to the last date of the month before the last date of receipt of tender. For instance, if the last date of receipt of tender is in June 2025, the experience period considered would be from June 1, 2020, to May 31, 2025. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the amount put to bid. At least 50% of this turnover must be from civil engineering construction works, and this can be from any one year during the last five years. The turnover is indexed at the rate of 8% per year and updated to the current financial year's price level in which bids are invited. Therefore, the required prior work experience includes completing similar work valued at not less than 25% of the bid amount and achieving a minimum annual financial turnover of 50% of the bid amount, with at least 50% of this turnover coming from civil engineering construction works.
