The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works within the last 07 years. The specific requirements are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have completed similar works for each component, with values of: - 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for three similar works, - 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for two similar works, - 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for one similar work. The bidder must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 07 years, one similar single work for a minimum of 30% of the advertised value of the tender. For works with composite components, each non-lead member of the JV must have technical capacity of minimum 25% of the cost of any component of work. The value of completed work shall be reckoned from the total payment received by the tenderer, and the amount given at specific proforma will be the value of completed work if the nomenclature of work matches with similar nature work. The percentage of similar works completed is 30% for single works and 25% for composite components. The subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of subcontractor shall be asked.
