The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing specific similar works within the last 07 years. The bidder must have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the bidder must have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subcontractors, they must have completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subcontracted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The tenderer must have minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less; where V= Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees N= Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The percentages of similar works completed are 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender, and 35% of the value of the work to be subcontracted for subcontractors. The amounts are mentioned in the schedules and include Rs 50 lakh for subletting work.
