Construction of dry lean cement concrete Sub- base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, coarse aggregate not exceeding 26.5 mm nominal size, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per Table: B below, cement content not to be less than 150 kg/ cum, optimum moisture content to be determined by trial during construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, laid with a mechanical paver, compacting with 8-10 tonnes vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Excess/ less cement used as per design mix is payable/ recoverable separately. 2.It is the responsibility of the contractor to bring the cement concrete manufactured in automatic batching plant (RMC plant) including transportation to site in transit mixer and the quoted rate shall include the expenditure towards the same. 3.It is also the responsibility of the contractor to carry out the Design Mix of Cement Concrete as per the specification above from a Govt. Engineering College and get it approved from FCI. The quoted rate shall include the fees of for carrying out the design mix charged by Government Engineering College, cost of material required to carry out the Design Mix and other incidental expenditures. 4.Dowel bars, Tie bars and Sleeve (Plastic sheeting) shall be paid under respective items. 5. Rate for excess/less cement per kg as per design mix for payment /recovery shall be same as rate of 1kg cement adopted in Pavement Quality Concrete.

Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners ,stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-charge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand)

Providing and laying factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of required strength, thickness & size/shape made by table vibratory method to attain superior smooth finish using PU or equivalent mould laid in grey colour or pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling compacting/ proper embedding/ laying of interlocking paver blocks in to the sand bedding layer through vibratory campaction by using plate vibrator filling the joints with yamuna & cutting of paver blocks as per required size & pattern finishing & sweeping extra sand in footpath,parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc. all complete as per the manufacturer's specification & direction of Engineer-in-charge.
