The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: * Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender * Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender * One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender In case of tenders for composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: * Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender * Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender * One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender The value of a completed work or substantially completed work is considered for similar works, including the PVC amount. The percentages mentioned are 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender or each component of the tender. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, no previous work experience is required for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh. The percentage mentioned for subcontractors is 35% of the value of the work to be subletted.
