The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the completion of similar nature of work, such as "Supply, Fabrication & erection of Steel structure/PF Shed/FOB/PS Tank." The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the bidder must have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder needs to provide details of the completed works, including description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of award, and date of scheduled completion of work. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned, but the bidder is required to submit a list of completed works. However, for subcontractors, the required prior work experience is at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, unless the subletting work costs up to Rs 50 lakh, in which case no previous work experience is required.
